DOROTHY DANDRIDGE 

This stamp has Dorothy Dandridge portrait on it. Dorothy Jean Dandridge was an African American film and theatre actress, singer, and dancer. She is perhaps best known for being the first African-American actress to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in the 1954 film Carmen Jones.

JUNETEENTH DAY

This stamp was created to celebrate Juneteenth Day. In the stamp, there are two successful black women. They are the result from what actually happened on Juneteenth.

ELDZIER CORTO 

This stamp used Eldzier Cortor portrait . Eldzier Cortor was an African-American artist and printmaker. Cortor is known for his style of surrealism that makes accurate depictions of poor, Black living conditions look fantastic as he distorts perspective.

2021 YEAR OF WATER BUFFALO

This stamp used the image of a Vietnamese peasant boy with water buffalo. The water buffaloes are really important  to Vietnamese famers.  The water buffalo is also the symbol of 2021.

DAN BAU

This stamp used one of Vietnamese traditional instruments. This instrument called "dan bau".  On the left were apricot blossoms (hoa mai). In Vietnamese culture, apricot blossom is the symbol of spring.

DAN NGUYET

This stamp used one of Vietnamese traditional instruments. This instrument called "dan nguyet".  On the left were phalaenopsis (moth orchid). In Vietnamese culture, orchid is the symbol of summer.

DAN TY BA

This stamp used one of Vietnamese traditional instruments. This instrument called "dan ty ba".  On the right were daisies. In Vietnamese culture, daisy is the symbol of autumn.

DAN TRANH 

This stamp used one of Vietnamese traditional instruments. This instrument called "dan tranh".  There were bamboos on the right. In Vietnamese culture, bamboo is the symbol of winter.

SAKURA FESTIVAL 

Sakura means cherry blossom in Japan. Like in the U.S, Sakura is also the symbol of spring. The Sakura festival is the event to celebrate the spring in Japanese style. This stamp used Kimono, Japanese traditional clothes to present Japanese style.

SAKURA FESTIVAL 2

This stamp was the second one in the Sakura Festival Stamp collection.  To present Japanese style, this stamp did not only use the Kimono but also manga style.
